Exciting changes are coming to your CWB business credit card in 2023!

If you're here, you've likely heard the news. 

CWB is introducing a new suite of business credit cards in 2023, and you get to be the first to experience them! Once the new card line-up is available, your current CWB Visa* business credit card will transition to one of our new cards.

We’re in the planning stages of how your transition will take place, but with news this good we couldn’t wait to let you know it’s coming. Making sure you have a great experience moving to your new credit card is a priority, so we’re taking the necessary time to do it right. You’ll receive more information once our transition plan is ready to share.

Keep using your current CWB Visa Business credit card

There are no immediate changes to your current credit card account. Continue to use your card and manage your account as you do today.

Are there any changes to my current CWB Visa business Card?
There are no immediate changes to your current business credit card account. Continue to use your card and manage your account as you do today.
Why is CWB changing business credit cards?
You’re at the heart of this change. We’re developing four new credit cards—including a U.S. dollar card—that will meet a range of needs for businesses of different sizes and stages. There will also be a new cash back rewards program and premium benefits and insurance for eligible cardholders. The new cards will also have enhanced digital capabilities, so you can better manage your account online. New options include real-time employee card issuance, configurable spend controls, access to customized reporting, and accounting software integration.

What types of credit cards will be available with the new card suite?
We’re designing four new business credit cards to meet a range of business needs, including a U.S. dollar card. You can learn more about each card in the coming months.
Will I be getting a new CWB Business credit card
Keep using your current CWB Visa business credit card over the coming months. We’re working on a transition plan to move you to a new credit card when they become available later in 2023. Watch for direct communications from us in the coming months that will share details about the transition plan and your new card.
Do I need to reapply for the new credit card?
No, you won’t need to reapply for the new credit card if you have an existing CWB Visa Business credit card at the time of the transition.
Will I need to choose which credit card I will transition to?
No, we’re taking care of the details to help make your transition seamless. We’ll select a card that closely matches your current one.
When will I learn which credit card I'm transitioning to?
We’re in the planning stages of how your transition will take place. If you’re the primary cardholder, you’ll receive direct communications from us in 2023 in advance of any changes. We’ll also let you know which card you’re transitioning to and when.
What will happen to my rewards points?
Your rewards points are moving with you! You’ve earned every point, so they’ll continue to be available to you on your new credit card account.
Will the rewards program change?
Yes, there will be a brand-new cash back rewards program for our rewards cards. If you currently have a rewards card with us, your new card will also be a rewards card. You can expect to learn more about the program in the coming months.

Brim Financial is the partner we’re working with to bring you the new business credit card program. Brim is the issuer of our personal credit cards and we’re thrilled to expand our partnership with them.
