CWB will take a gradual, measured approach to expanding the hours our branch network is open to the public in response to the re-opening plans from our provincial governments and health authorities. In anticipation of increased client traffic in some communities, CWB will open ten branches, currently closed to the public, on a reduced schedule, effective Monday, May 25. Two additional branches will expand their hours as well. Clients can continue to reach their Relationship Managers during regular business hours by phone or email, as all employees who can work from home are doing so.
“After reviewing transactional data and anticipated traffic across our branch network, we believe this is the best approach to ensure our people and clients can effectively practice safe social distancing,” said Stephen Murphy, CWB’s Executive Vice President of Banking. “We’ve received significant positive feedback that confirms our teams have done an incredible job of supporting our clients remotely and we plan to continue that trend. We know that now, more than ever, our clients need our support and we are stepping up in every way possible to ensure they succeed in this extraordinary time.”
Effective Monday, May 25, the following branches will re-open three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
